
3D Printing Engineer

The 3D printing engineer produces parts for an unmanned systems center on site rather than waiting for deliveries: prepares received models in slicing software, sets the printers up for the material and the job, checks print quality and keeps the printer fleet running. Whether a part fits the first time depends on the accuracy of those settings.
Responsibilities
- printing models and parts on 3D printers as tasked;
- preparing models for printing and slicing them;
- setting the printers up for the chosen material and job;
- checking print quality and adjusting the process;
- servicing the printers and carrying out minor repairs;
- keeping records of output and material consumption.
Requirements
- experience with 3D printers: setup and maintenance;
- knowledge of FDM printing, materials and their properties;
- confident MS Office user for record-keeping and reporting;
- attentiveness, diligence and quick learning of new skills;
- higher technical or vocational technical education;
- familiarity with Bambu Lab or similar software is an advantage;
- experience creating 3D models and preparing them for printing is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- workshop-based work; uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave for family reasons;
- benefits, insurance, free medical care and statutory social guarantees.
