Drone Munitions Technician

The drone munitions technician prepares the warheads of unmanned aerial vehicles for use: fits the payload, checks that it is securely mounted and that the armed aircraft is serviceable, and is responsible for safety at every step of handling explosives. Works as part of a team in the unmanned systems center, including in the field during combat missions.
Responsibilities
- fitting the warhead to a drone before a mission;
- checking that the payload is securely mounted and the armed aircraft is serviceable;
- carrying out tasks that involve the use of explosives;
- ensuring safety during all work with drones and munitions;
- taking part in combat missions as a member of the team;
- keeping records of explosives and payload components used.
Requirements
- specialized technical or higher education;
- experience serving as a drone operator or remote pilot;
- category B driving licence and confident driving;
- good ground navigation and map-reading skills;
- discipline, organization and physical endurance.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, insurance and free medical care;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;

- professional development and training in the specialty.
