A Sapper is a service member responsible for detecting, identifying, and neutralizing explosive hazards, participating in demining operations, and performing engineering tasks to ensure the safety and mobility of the unit.
Responsibilities
- detecting, identifying, and neutralizing ammunition, mines, and explosive devices;
- conducting demining along routes used by military vehicles and units;
- participating in engineering works, including installing and clearing obstacles.
Requirements
- motivation to work with explosive ordnance;
- previous military experience will be an advantage;
- willingness to work in combat zones;
- age 18+;
- no critical health issues;
- appropriate physical fitness.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of the period of martial law or service under a contract;
- training for the position after completion of basic military training;
- monthly remuneration from 20,000 to 120,000 UAH depending on the performance of assigned combat tasks and orders;
- guaranteed assignment specifically to the relevant unit;
- provision of personal protective equipment and military property;
- annual leave in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
