Sapper

A Sapper is a service member responsible for detecting, identifying, and neutralizing explosive hazards, participating in demining operations, and performing engineering tasks to ensure the safety and mobility of the unit.

Responsibilities

  • detecting, identifying, and neutralizing ammunition, mines, and explosive devices;
  • conducting demining along routes used by military vehicles and units;
  • participating in engineering works, including installing and clearing obstacles.

Requirements

  • motivation to work with explosive ordnance;
  • previous military experience will be an advantage;
  • willingness to work in combat zones;
  • age 18+;
  • no critical health issues;
  • appropriate physical fitness.

Conditions

  • mobilization until the end of the period of martial law or service under a contract;
  • training for the position after completion of basic military training;
  • monthly remuneration from 20,000 to 120,000 UAH depending on the performance of assigned combat tasks and orders;
  • guaranteed assignment specifically to the relevant unit;
  • provision of personal protective equipment and military property;
  • annual leave in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine.
