The media relations manager coordinates communication between the unit and media organizations. The role involves handling media inquiries, preparing communication materials, and maintaining professional relationships with journalists and media outlets.
Responsibilities
- process inquiries from Ukrainian and international media;
- coordinate and support journalists during media production activities;
- prepare and review communication materials for publication;
- write press releases and other media materials;
- maintain professional relationships with journalists and editorial teams;
- assist in planning and implementing communication campaigns.
Requirements
- experience in communications, media relations, public relations, or journalism;
- strong written and spoken Ukrainian language skills;
- proficiency in English for professional communication;
- strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- experience working with international media is an advantage;
- responsibility, organization, and ability to work in a team.
Conditions
- military service under mobilization or contract;
- possibility of transfer for currently serving personnel subject to approval;
- provision of equipment and resources required to perform duties;
- financial compensation according to service conditions and national legislation;
- annual leave and social guarantees in accordance with national legislation.
