DevOps Engineer, Media Streaming Infrastructure

The DevOps engineer is responsible for the infrastructure that delivers drone video to operators and command posts: administers Linux servers, deploys and maintains streaming stacks, sets up monitoring and investigates incidents when the feed breaks. The work is within the development team and includes on-call duty and rapid restoration of services.
Responsibilities
- administering the unit's Linux servers and network infrastructure;
- deploying and maintaining streaming stacks that carry video from drones;
- building and running services in Docker and maintaining CI/CD pipelines;
- setting up centralized monitoring, logging and alerting;
- diagnosing network problems: packet loss, jitter, MTU, NAT;
- on-call duty, incident investigation and restoring services.
Requirements
- at least a year of hands-on DevOps or systems administration experience;
- Linux administration: services, logs, networking, troubleshooting;
- experience with Docker and a basic understanding of CI/CD;
- basic understanding of TCP/UDP, DNS, TLS, firewalls and routing;
- knowledge of monitoring fundamentals: logs, metrics, alerting;
- technical English at intermediate level;
- experience with Kubernetes, RTSP/SRT/WebRTC or GStreamer is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
