The fixed-wing UAV operator controls unmanned aerial systems designed for aerial observation and data collection. The role involves preparing drones for flight, operating them during missions, and processing the information obtained during operations.
Responsibilities
- perform pre-flight checks of control, navigation, and video communication systems;
- prepare UAV systems for launch and monitor equipment condition;
- operate fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles during mission tasks;
- conduct aerial observation and monitor designated areas;
- work with specialized flight control software;
- perform basic maintenance and minor equipment repairs;
- coordinate with other units during mission activities.
Requirements
- understanding of how unmanned aerial vehicles operate;
- confident use of computers and specialized software;
- ability to work with maps and navigation tools;
- attention to detail and ability to analyze information;
- ability to work under pressure and in field conditions;
- responsibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Conditions
- military service under mobilization or contract;
- possibility of transfer for currently serving personnel subject to approval;
