A Reconnaissance Scout is a service member who conducts ground reconnaissance, gathers and reports information about enemy activity and the operational environment, and operates in field conditions during mission deployments. The role includes foot patrols, observation, documenting findings, and using specialized reconnaissance equipment while working as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- operate in field conditions and conduct foot patrols;
- observe enemy activity and terrain; record changes in the situation;
- collect, verify, and report reconnaissance information to leadership;
- use modern specialized reconnaissance equipment;
- execute missions as part of a small team during combat tasking;
- follow safety procedures, concealment practices, and communications discipline.
Requirements
- readiness to operate in active combat environments;
- strong physical fitness and endurance;
- psychological resilience, composure, attention to detail;
- teamwork skills and ability to follow orders;
- medical fitness for military service;
- prior combat experience is an advantage.
Conditions
- contract-based military service;
- transfer options for active service members (subject to standard procedures);
- full equipment and logistical support;
- training programs in Ukraine and abroad;
- annual leave in accordance with applicable regulations;
- pay: UAH 120,000/month while assigned to combat tasks.
