Drone Crew Commander
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The drone crew commander organizes the work of an unmanned aerial system crew at the position: scouts the terrain, finds and sets up launch sites, keeps the equipment and communications operational and makes sure every crew member follows their procedure. Missions take place in combat areas, in constant coordination with neighbouring units.
Responsibilities
- making sure the crew follows all operating procedures;
- scouting the terrain and finding new drone launch sites;
- setting up the crew's positions and launch sites;
- coordinating with neighbouring units on information gathering;
- handling the crew's logistics;
- keeping the crew's equipment and communications operational.
Requirements
- experience with unmanned aerial systems and an understanding of how they are used;
- readiness to carry out missions in combat areas;
- communication skills and the ability to handle large volumes of information;
- physical endurance and land navigation skills;
- a driving licence is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, gear and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support at all stages of enlistment and service.
