Supply Sergeant

The supply sergeant is responsible for accounting for the unit's property: receives, stores and issues material and medical supplies, keeps warehouse records and reports on their movement and consumption. Plans the needs of subunits and coordinates deliveries. This is record-keeping work, mostly in Excel, in close contact with the warehouse and subunit commanders.
Responsibilities
- accounting for, storing and issuing medical and material supplies;
- keeping the unit's warehouse records;
- preparing reports on the movement and consumption of material assets;
- planning the needs of subunits and providing them with material resources;
- coordinating supply logistics;
- monitoring the use and condition of the unit's property.
Requirements
- vocational or higher education;
- knowledge of accounting principles, write-off rules and inventory procedures;
- confident use of a computer and Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word;
- experience keeping records in Excel or specialized accounting software;
- experience in a military supply role or as a storekeeper;
- responsibility and attention to detail.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- assistance during enlistment and throughout service.
