Senior Vehicle Technician

The senior vehicle technician makes sure the subunits' vehicles and light armoured vehicles stay operational: organizes repairs and maintenance, oversees upgrades, keeps records of technical condition and plans repair work. The work takes place amid active combat operations, when a vehicle has to be returned to service quickly.
Responsibilities
- organizing and supervising repairs of the subunits' vehicles;
- supervising repairs of light armoured vehicles and special equipment;
- carrying out scheduled maintenance of the brigade's vehicles;
- upgrading vehicles and light armoured transport;
- handling matters related to the unit's technical equipment and supplies;
- keeping records of vehicle condition and planning repair work.
Requirements
- experience at a vehicle service station or in equipment repair;
- a driving licence and vehicle handling skills;
- physical endurance and readiness to work amid active combat operations;
- understanding of how vehicles are used in combat conditions;
- willingness to learn and master new types of equipment.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full uniform, gear and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support at every stage of enlistment and service.
