Interceptor Drone Operator

The interceptor drone operator launches a drone to meet hostile UAVs and destroys them in the air, shielding the unit's positions and rear. The work involves duty shifts as part of a crew together with the detection team, an instant response to a detected target, preparing aircraft for launch and logging results. Missions are carried out in combat areas in any weather.
Responsibilities
- piloting an interceptor drone during missions;
- detecting, tracking and pursuing hostile UAVs;
- engaging aerial targets in the assigned sector;
- working with the detection team as part of the crew;
- preparing aircraft for launch and checking their condition;
- reporting results and keeping a log of flights.
Requirements
- technical aptitude and confident computer skills;
- quick reactions and composure when the situation changes;
- readiness to carry out missions in combat areas;
- readiness for duty shifts and work in field conditions;
- experience with unmanned aerial systems is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- full uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- support from enlistment through service.
