FPV Interceptor Drone Crew Navigator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The FPV interceptor drone crew navigator works alongside the pilot during the interception of aerial targets: reads the terrain, guides the pilot along the route, monitors the situation around the position and warns the crew of threats in time. Chooses the working site, helps prepare the drones and reports the outcome after each flight.
Responsibilities
- terrain orientation and guiding the pilot along the set route during an interception;
- monitoring the situation in the working area and warning the crew of threats;
- choosing the crew's working position and arranging its logistics;
- liaising with neighbouring crews and command in chats and coordination briefings;
- taking part in preparing, tuning and repairing drones and ground equipment;
- submitting reports on the results of completed flights.
Requirements
- basic map-reading and terrain orientation skills;
- clear communication and the ability to handle several tasks at once;
- readiness for field service as part of a UAV crew;
- ability to learn quickly and master new equipment;
- experience with navigation software or drones is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
