The web designer designs the brigade's web services and public pages: draws mockups in Figma, builds the screen structure and navigation, prepares responsive versions for different screen sizes, maintains the interface component library and sees the mockups through to release. The work is done in tandem with developers, where the mockup's precision sets how fast it gets built.
Responsibilities
- creating mockups of web pages and interfaces in Figma;
- building page structure, element hierarchy and navigation;
- preparing responsive mockups for different screen sizes;
- creating and maintaining the unit's interface component library;
- prototyping interface scenarios, including animated ones;
- handing mockups over to developers and supporting them through to release.
Requirements
- confident command of Figma — components, auto layout, prototyping;
- an understanding of UI/UX principles and navigation design;
- experience creating responsive mockups;
- a basic understanding of HTML and CSS layout;
- animated prototyping skills in ProtoPie or After Effects;
- a portfolio of shipped web projects.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided in full;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees under Ukrainian law.
