The cook is responsible for providing the unit's personnel with high-quality and timely meals. The role involves food preparation, compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards, and organizing food storage in field or stationary conditions.
Responsibilities
- prepare meals according to recipe cards and established standards;
- comply with hygiene requirements and safety rules during food processing;
- correctly operate and maintain kitchen equipment;
- ensure proper conditions and shelf lives for food storage;
- portion and serve meals to personnel;
- maintain cleanliness at the workplace and in food storage areas.
Requirements
- work experience in a similar role or relevant vocational education;
- knowledge of culinary basics and experience working with recipe cards;
- understanding of storage rules and shelf lives for various food categories;
- responsibility, cleanliness, and a high level of self-discipline;
- fitness for military service for health reasons.
Conditions
- military service under mobilization or contract;
- possibility of transfer for currently serving personnel subject to approval;
- financial compensation according to service conditions and national legislation;
- provision of equipment and materials required to perform duties;
- annual leave and social guarantees in accordance with national legislation.
