Communications Systems Specialist

The communications systems specialist keeps the link between drone crews and the regiment's command post working: sets up and configures the equipment, checks its condition and fixes faults in both hardware and software. This is technical work within the signals section, with trips to deployment sites and tasks that can come up outside the normal daily routine.
Responsibilities
- setting up, configuring and maintaining the unit's communications equipment;
- diagnosing the technical condition of communications equipment;
- finding and fixing faults in hardware and software;
- configuring Windows workstations and the applications used for communications;
- keeping records of communications equipment and its condition;
- liaising with signals sections of other units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Requirements
- experience with communications systems;
- knowledge of how radio communications equipment is built and works;
- skills with Windows and application software;
- attention to detail and the ability to work in a team;
- readiness to carry out tasks outside the normal daily schedule.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
