Rigger
Non-Combat Roles20 000-50 000 UAHLogistics / Transport
The rigger is responsible for moving heavy loads safely within the regiment: slings vehicles, equipment and structures, guides their lifting by cranes, winches and hoists together with the machine operators, and takes part in assembling engineering structures. The work is physical, mostly outdoors, and requires constant checks on the condition of slings, cables and chains.
Responsibilities
- slinging, lifting and moving loads with hoisting equipment;
- securing and balancing loads before lifting and transport;
- working with cranes, winches and hoists in coordination with machine operators;
- assembling, dismantling and installing heavy structures, vehicles and equipment;
- taking part in building engineering and fortification structures;
- checking the condition of slings, cables, chains and other rigging gear;
- giving signals and following safety rules during lifting operations.
Requirements
- experience as a slinger or rigger is an advantage;
- knowledge of load slinging rules;
- understanding of how cranes, winches and hoists work;
- physical endurance and readiness for heavy work in field conditions;
- attention to detail, discipline and the ability to work in a team.
Conditions
- mobilization for the duration of martial law or service under contract; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- free medical care;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
