The food processing and preparation specialist cooks meals for personnel according to recipes and quality standards and organizes their distribution. Work in the kitchen requires compliance with sanitary rules, control of food stocks and smooth teamwork.
Responsibilities
- cook meals according to recipes and quality standards, including hot and cold appetizers;
- carry out primary processing of raw ingredients (meat, fish, vegetables);
- portion and serve ready meals to a large number of service members;
- ensure proper storage of food and its efficient use;
- monitor the availability of food and equipment, expiry dates and costs;
- comply with sanitary and hygiene rules and safety requirements, keep the workplace and work clothing clean;
- perform auxiliary work in preparing dishes and culinary products.
Requirements
- experience in catering establishments, preferably at least 1 year;
- knowledge of food processing techniques and technology;
- cooking skills;
- knowledge of hygiene rules, sanitary standards and kitchen safety rules;
- readiness for a flexible duty schedule;
- punctuality and stress resistance;
- fluent command of the state language (Ukrainian) and ability to work in a team.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform and meals provided;
- statutory social guarantees and annual paid leave.
