System Administrator
Non-Combat Roles50 000 UAHAnalytics / IT
The system administrator keeps the brigade's servers and networks running: configures Windows and Linux servers, administers local networks and access points, makes backups, manages user access and restores systems after failures. This is computer-based work within the IT team, where data exchange between units depends on the infrastructure staying up.
Responsibilities
- setting up and maintaining Windows and Linux servers;
- administering local networks, routers and access points;
- monitoring the health of hardware and servers;
- backing up and restoring the unit's data;
- managing user access and updating protection tools;
- troubleshooting failures in hardware and network services.
Requirements
- experience with Active Directory, DHCP and DNS;
- basic knowledge of information security and access control tools;
- ability to navigate large volumes of technical information quickly;
- ability to pick up new tools and technologies fast;
- attention to detail, a systematic approach and teamwork.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- office-type service;
- housing, meals and uniform provided;
- guaranteed annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
