The scriptwriter and editor takes the brigade's videos from idea to finished script: develops concepts for videos and campaigns, builds the story's structure and logic, writes voice-over texts and captions, and prepares storyboards and references for shoots. The work happens in a production team alongside camera operators, editors and designers, usually on tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- writing scripts for videos, advertising and recruitment campaigns;
- developing concepts and creative ideas for the unit's media campaigns;
- building the structure of a video and the logic of how the story unfolds;
- adapting content to promo, interview, report and short-video formats;
- preparing voice-over texts, captions and presentation materials;
- preparing shooting plans, storyboards and references for shoots;
- working with camera operators, video editors and designers on the production team.
Requirements
- experience writing scripts for video, advertising or digital content;
- fluent Ukrainian and accurate writing;
- an understanding of dramatic structure, storytelling and script construction;
- skills in editing, trimming and structuring texts;
- ability to work to tight deadlines together with the production team;
- experience with content for YouTube, TikTok or Instagram would be an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- office-type service within the production team;
- housing and meals provided;
- annual paid leave in accordance with the law.
