Duty Operator

The duty operator collects and maintains the unit's operational data throughout a shift: logs events in a spreadsheet using a set form, checks reports, finds and corrects errors, keeps in touch with subunits and reports changes in the situation to the command. This is shift-based, computer-based work within the operations section that demands sustained concentration.
Responsibilities
- maintaining the unit's operational data during the shift;
- logging events in a spreadsheet using the prescribed form;
- checking reports and finding and correcting errors in the data;
- passing information on changes in the situation to the command;
- keeping continuous contact with subunits during the shift;
- preparing summary reports at the end of the shift.
Requirements
- readiness for intensive computer work;
- experience with Excel or Google Sheets;
- attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data;
- ability to keep pace and stay focused for the whole shift;
- experience with maps or good terrain orientation would be an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their immediate commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- shift-based office-type service in an analytics center;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- guaranteed annual paid leave.
