A Duty Operations Officer provides continuous collection, processing, and distribution of operational updates and supports coordination between unit elements. The role focuses on handling time-sensitive information, maintaining communications, and keeping duty documentation during a shift.
Responsibilities
- collect, process, and distribute updates on the current operational situation;
- coordinate available forces and assets within assigned authority and maintain duty documentation;
- supervise duty shift performance and compliance with established procedures;
- maintain communications and coordination between responsible personnel and unit elements.
Requirements
- prior military service or experience in an operations or control role will be an advantage;
- confident computer skills, including text documents and spreadsheets, and readiness to use specialized software;
- high stress tolerance and ability to work in a multitasking environment;
- ability to work with maps, make quick decisions, and structure large volumes of information;
- responsibility, discipline, and strong organizational skills.
Conditions
- military service under contract or within a mobilization framework;
- transfer options for currently serving personnel subject to command approval;
- provision of required equipment and service gear;
- training and preparation before starting duties in the role;
- annual leave in line with Ukrainian law;
- service within an unmanned systems unit.
