Cybersecurity Engineer

The cybersecurity engineer protects the brigade's digital systems: runs audits and penetration tests, finds and closes vulnerabilities, configures access policies and network perimeter protection, monitors security events and responds to incidents. This is computer-based work within the IT team, in coordination with administrators and the units that rely on these systems.
Responsibilities
- conducting security audits and penetration tests;
- identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in internal systems;
- configuring secure infrastructure and access policies;
- monitoring security events and responding to incidents;
- maintaining and updating network perimeter protection tools;
- preparing cyber-protection recommendations for the brigade's units.
Requirements
- two or more years of hands-on experience in information security;
- knowledge of OWASP, SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN and WAF;
- experience with Linux and network protocols;
- an understanding of web application and API security;
- CEH, OSCP or CompTIA Security+ certifications would be an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 50,000;
- office-type, computer-based service;
- housing, meals and uniform provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
