The staff sergeant of the communications and cybersecurity section provides the brigade headquarters with secure communications: sets up and maintains the equipment, keeps channels between units running and monitors compliance with information security requirements. Repairs faulty equipment, keeps the section's records and trains personnel.
Responsibilities
- setting up and maintaining the brigade headquarters' communications equipment;
- keeping secure communications between units running without interruption;
- monitoring compliance with information security requirements at headquarters;
- repairing faults in communications equipment and computer hardware;
- keeping the section's records and documentation;
- training personnel in the correct use of communications equipment.
Requirements
- technical education in communications or information technology;
- experience in communications or telecommunications;
- confident computer skills and experience with network equipment;
- ability to explain things clearly and train others;
- prior military service is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- access to the unit's psychologists.
