The nurse provides emergency medical care to unit personnel and keeps the medical company ready to receive casualties at any moment. The work takes place within the medical company of an unmanned systems brigade and includes duty shifts, assisting during mass casualty situations, and keeping medical supplies, kits and stocks accounted for and ready to use.
Responsibilities
- providing emergency medical care to wounded and sick service members;
- helping organise care during emergencies and mass casualty situations;
- maintaining sanitary conditions of the medical company's premises and equipment;
- keeping records of medical supplies, assembling kits and monitoring stock levels;
- taking part in combat medical training for unit personnel;
- taking part in medical exercises and drills.
Requirements
- skills in using medical equipment and instruments;
- ability to act quickly and make decisions in emergencies;
- responsibility and readiness to work as part of a team;
- willingness to learn and upgrade professional skills;
- formal medical education and healthcare experience are an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 70,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- service away from the front line;
- 30 days of annual paid leave.
