Driver and Auto Mechanic

The driver and auto mechanic makes daily trips on the unit's tasks, carrying personnel and cargo, and keeps the assigned vehicle in working order single-handedly: performs routine servicing, diagnostics and minor repairs and fixes breakdowns on the road. The job combines driving with mechanical work and requires tidy vehicle logbook records.
Responsibilities
- driving the service vehicle in compliance with traffic rules;
- transporting personnel and cargo on the unit's tasks;
- routine servicing, diagnostics and minor repairs of the vehicle;
- fixing breakdowns on the road without outside help;
- keeping the vehicle logbook and records of mileage and fuel;
- keeping track of tools and consumables.
Requirements
- category B and C driving license;
- experience servicing vehicles and basic knowledge of auto mechanics;
- attentiveness and responsibility behind the wheel;
- readiness to work beyond the normal daily schedule.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- service in the rear, away from the combat zone;
- housing, uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- 15 days of leave every six months.
