
Electromechanical and Electrical Technician

An electromechanical or electrical technician services, repairs and upgrades the unit's electronic systems: diagnoses electromechanical devices, designs power supply and switching circuits, works with battery packs and installs power cables. This is workshop-based work within an unmanned systems brigade, and every repaired assembly is tested under load before it is handed over.
Responsibilities
- servicing, repairing and upgrading the unit's electronic systems;
- diagnosing electromechanical devices, finding and fixing faults;
- designing branched power supply and load switching circuits;
- working with battery packs, BMS systems and charging circuits;
- installing and routing power cables and switching components;
- testing repaired assemblies under load before handing them over.
Requirements
- experience with motor drivers and relay circuits;
- knowledge of power supply and load switching systems;
- knowledge of Li-Ion, Li-NMC and LiFePO4 battery technologies and BMS systems;
- skills in designing power supply and switching circuits;
- ability to work with switching components and route power cables;
- ability to diagnose devices, identify and fix faults.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- service in the rear, away from the combat zone;
- housing provided; uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- 15 days of leave every six months and statutory social guarantees.
