Mavic/Matrice/Autel Drone Operator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The Mavic/Matrice/Autel drone operator conducts aerial reconnaissance and provides air cover for the unit's activity: missions of ground robotic systems, personnel rotations, searching for enemy ambush drones and remote mining devices. This is field work in a crew at forward positions, where the result depends on keeping the equipment and batteries ready to fly at any moment.
Responsibilities
- conducting aerial reconnaissance and passing the data to the commander;
- escorting logistics and other missions of ground robotic systems;
- locating and engaging enemy drones lying in ambush along routes;
- locating and destroying enemy remote mining devices;
- covering personnel rotations to and from positions;
- keeping equipment and batteries in working order.
Requirements
- readiness to work in field conditions;
- physical stamina for long periods at forward positions;
- basic land navigation skills;
- willingness to learn quickly and keep improving skills;
- experience with Mavic, Matrice or Autel quadcopters is an advantage;
- combat experience and drone piloting certificates are an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- personal protective equipment provided;
