Ground Robotic System Operator
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The ground robotic system operator controls robotic platforms that carry out tasks at forward positions instead of people: prepares the system for a mission, checks power and control links, drives the vehicle along the route and monitors the connection with it. The work is done at a forward position under the commander's orders; the operator fixes simple faults on the spot.
Responsibilities
- controlling ground robotic systems and unit equipment;
- preparing the system for a mission, checking power and control links;
- monitoring communication and control systems while the task is under way;
- carrying out tasks on the commander's orders in a combat setting;
- fixing simple equipment faults directly at the position;
- keeping equipment in working order and ready for use.
Requirements
- ability to work with electronic and technical systems;
- knowledge of how equipment and communication systems work;
- experience with machinery in field or combat conditions;
- physical stamina and readiness to work at forward positions;
- ability to respond quickly to faults is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- personal protective equipment provided;
