The heat treatment operator heat-treats parts the brigade manufactures for its unmanned systems: hardens and tempers metal to technical specifications, checks hardness on measuring equipment and keeps records of processed parts. The work takes place next to heating equipment, involves physical effort and requires strict adherence to treatment modes.
Responsibilities
- heat treatment of parts according to technical specifications;
- checking the hardness of treated parts on measuring equipment;
- quality control of parts after each treatment cycle;
- keeping count of treated and manufactured parts;
- preparing parts for treatment using hand-held power tools;
- following occupational safety rules when working with heating equipment;
- keeping the workplace clean and in order.
Requirements
- experience as a heat treatment operator or hardener;
- knowledge of metal heat treatment processes and quenching media;
- ability to operate heat treatment and hardness testing equipment;
- ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools;
- experience with hand-held power tools such as angle grinders, drills and sanders;
- responsibility and readiness for physical work.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- housing and meals provided;
- uniform, equipment and supplies provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- service in the rear, away from the combat zone.
