The head of the command post information section ensures the command has a verified, up-to-date picture of the situation. The section gathers data from various sources, assesses its reliability and prepares briefings. The work is done in real time with a heavy flow of information.
Responsibilities
- continuous collection of data on enemy actions and on the status of friendly and neighboring units in the area of responsibility;
- verifying and assessing information for accuracy, timeliness and source;
- identifying patterns in enemy actions;
- preparing analytical briefings for the command;
- plotting the current operational situation on paper and electronic maps in real time.
Requirements
- basic experience of military service or of working with large data sets;
- ability to quickly filter, verify and summarize large volumes of information;
- ability to work with information under stress;
- confident use of a PC, geographic information systems and electronic maps.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- service members receive uniform, equipment and meals;
- medical care provided;
- annual leave; social guarantees under the law.
