A Head of Information Security Service is responsible for organizing and overseeing information security measures across automated systems and network infrastructure. The role includes developing security policies, managing risk and incident response, and leading the security function with appropriate documentation.
Responsibilities
- develop and implement security policies for automated systems;
- ensure technical information protection and security of computer networks and servers;
- assess risks, identify threats, and organize incident response;
- lead the security function and ensure compliance with service requirements.
Requirements
- higher education in cybersecurity, information technology, telecommunications, or a related field;
- commissioned officer rank;
- understanding of modern security threats, vulnerability identification skills, and knowledge of relevant information security regulations;
- responsibility, strong organization, ability to work with documentation, and psychological resilience.
Conditions
- military service under contract or within a mobilization framework;
- transfer options for currently serving personnel subject to command approval;
- provision of required equipment and service gear;
- training and preparation before starting duties in the role;
- annual leave in accordance with Ukrainian law;
- service within an unmanned systems unit.
