Head of Rear Support, Deputy Head of Logistics

The head of rear support, who is also deputy head of logistics, is responsible for supplying personnel with food, uniforms, protective gear and fuel for vehicles. The role manages the supply services, warehouses and kitchens and carries full financial liability for the unit's property.
Responsibilities
- organizing uninterrupted hot meals for personnel, field kitchen operation and a reserve stock of dry rations;
- managing the heads of services (food, clothing, fuel and lubricants), supply platoon commanders, warehouse managers and cooks;
- monitoring timely provision of uniforms, footwear, personal protective equipment (body armor, helmets) and bath and laundry services;
- organizing the supply, storage and issue of fuel and lubricants for vehicles;
- monitoring the correct keeping of ledgers and record cards in subordinate services;
- monitoring safety measures at warehouses and preventing theft of military property.
Requirements
- readiness to bear full financial liability for the unit's property;
- ability to make decisions in force majeure conditions;
- confident PC user (MS Office, Excel);
- experience in supply positions: warehouse manager, head of food or clothing supply, deputy company commander for logistics;
- relevant civilian experience: warehouse director or logistics manager;
- experience with automated accounting systems is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract, or mobilization while martial law is in force; transfer for serving personnel;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided to service members;
- social guarantees provided by law and annual paid leave.
