Maintenance Technician, Strike UAV Platoon
Combat Roles20 000-120 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The crew technician maintains and repairs the unmanned aerial systems of the strike platoon and prepares them for combat sorties. Fixes mechanical and electronic faults, installs additional equipment and works with operators and engineers to keep the equipment in working order.
Responsibilities
- maintaining drones: checking technical condition, preventive care and scheduled maintenance;
- repairs: fixing mechanical and electronic faults and replacing damaged parts;
- upgrading equipment: installing additional equipment and testing new solutions;
- configuring and calibrating drones for combat sorties;
- testing drones before missions;
- working with operators and engineers to keep the equipment in effective use.
Requirements
- knowledge of drone design: understanding of drone mechanical and electronic systems;
- skills with tools: soldering, working with electronics, mechanical repairs;
- attentiveness and responsibility: accuracy in carrying out tasks and compliance with safety rules;
- physical endurance: work in field conditions, prompt repair of equipment in combat circumstances;
- experience with mechanics, electronics, aeromodelling or repairing radio-controlled devices is an advantage, training is possible.
Conditions
- recruitment under contract or through mobilization; transfer is open to current service members;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- supply of food and clothing;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
