
Generator Repair and Maintenance Technician

The generator repair and maintenance technician keeps in working order the generator sets that power the command posts, workshops and living quarters of an unmanned systems brigade. Finds and repairs faults in the electrical and mechanical parts, replaces consumables and components, checks the operating parameters of each unit after repair and keeps the repair records.
Responsibilities
- routine repair and maintenance of generator sets of various types;
- finding and repairing faults in the electrical part of generators;
- replacing working fluids, cleaning and replacing filters and other consumables;
- replacing parts and assemblies of generator sets;
- checking the operating parameters of units after repair;
- keeping repair records for the generators.
Requirements
- technical education in generator repair and maintenance;
- experience servicing generator sets;
- knowledge of the electrical and mechanical parts of generators;
- ability to use instruments for measuring electrical parameters;
- confident use of hand tools.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,400 to UAH 50,000;
- full provision of uniform, equipment and meals;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
