The group officer tracks the psychological state of personnel and identifies in good time service members who need help. Analyzes the psychological profile of new arrivals, assesses the unit's readiness for tasks and conducts classes on self-regulation and psychological first aid.
Responsibilities
- continuous monitoring of changes in the mood, behavior and morale of personnel (especially in the combat zone);
- timely identification of service members with signs of acute stress reaction, combat psychological trauma, panic, depression or suicidal intentions;
- monitoring the psychological readiness of the unit for combat tasks and forecasting possible risks;
- analysis of the psychological profile of new arrivals for better distribution of duties within the unit;
- practical classes on psychological self-regulation, fear management and psychological first aid;
- recording and quality control of completed work;
- compliance with requirements for processing, storing and transferring information.
Requirements
- full higher education in psychology, psychotherapy or psychiatry;
- professional experience in the field;
- high level of empathy;
- stress resistance and psychological resilience;
- readiness to learn and improve qualifications.
Conditions
- service under a contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- medical care and free treatment;
- office or headquarters-type service;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
