FPV Drone Technician

The FPV drone technician assembles, tunes and repairs the battalion's strike drones — from soldering a circuit board to the final check before a drone is handed to a crew. Keeps track of the fleet's condition, prevents breakdowns and looks for ways to make the build more reliable. Workshop work next to the pilots, in the field, calling for steady hands and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- assembling and mounting FPV drone components and modules according to instructions;
- soldering and replacing electronic parts, connectors and cable joints;
- diagnosing, repairing and preparing drones for flight;
- testing and checking finished drones before handing them to crews;
- monitoring equipment condition and preventing breakdowns;
- researching and improving existing builds and settings.
Requirements
- confident soldering skills; a microelectronics qualification is an advantage;
- understanding of how an FPV drone is built and what each component does;
- ability to read electrical diagrams and technical documentation;
- care and attention to small details during assembly;
- readiness for service in field conditions.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- 30 days of annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- statutory social guarantees;
- basic military training for those with no prior service.
