FPV Drone Lab Engineer
Non-Combat Roles20 000-50 000 UAHUAVs and UGVs
The FPV drone lab engineer builds combat drones from component kits and brings each aircraft to full readiness: solders and repairs onboard electronics, configures flight controllers, tests control systems and checks every drone before it is handed over to field units. This is workshop-based work with small components that calls for care and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- assembling FPV drones from component kits;
- setting up and testing the drone's control systems;
- soldering, repairing and maintaining onboard components;
- configuring flight controllers in Betaflight and INAV;
- adapting drone configurations to specific combat tasks;
- checking finished drones before handing them over to field units.
Requirements
- experience in soldering and repairing electronics;
- understanding of drone design, flight controllers, video transmitters, receivers and cameras;
- basic computer skills for configuring Betaflight and INAV;
- attentiveness, accuracy and responsibility when working with small components;
- desire to grow in the field of unmanned aircraft systems.
Conditions
- service under contract or mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, insurance and free medical treatment;
- annual paid leave plus 10 days of additional leave for family reasons;
- statutory social guarantees and benefits.
