Electronic Warfare and Signals Intelligence Operator

The electronic warfare and signals intelligence operator denies hostile drones the airspace over the battalion's positions: runs equipment that detects and jams their control links and gathers data on the radio environment. Shifts at the equipment on a position alternate with processing the collected data for command. Work as part of a crew, in field conditions.
Responsibilities
- operating electronic warfare and signals intelligence equipment on a position;
- detecting and suppressing the control links of hostile drones;
- analysing and processing the collected data on the radio environment;
- bringing the equipment into operation and checking it stays serviceable during a shift;
- taking part in installing, setting up and maintaining the equipment;
- keeping records of detected frequencies and results of the work.
Requirements
- knowledge of radio frequencies and switching principles;
- understanding of how electronic warfare and signals intelligence equipment is built and used;
- basic skills with antennas, cable runs and power supply;
- attentiveness and the ability to work with equipment on a position for long stretches;
- readiness for service in field conditions.
Conditions
- mobilization for the duration of martial law or service under contract; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- statutory social guarantees;
- 30 days of annual paid leave and 10 additional days for family reasons;
- basic military training for those without prior service.
