Assistant UAV Recon Pilot

An Assistant UAV Recon Pilot is a service member who supports reconnaissance UAV missions, assists with flight planning and execution, helps determine optimal routes, contributes to the collection and transmission of intelligence data, and maintains UAVs in operational condition.
Responsibilities
- operating UAVs for aerial reconnaissance and information collection;
- planning and executing flight missions in line with tasking;
- determining optimal routes considering terrain, weather and air-defense threats;
- analyzing and transmitting collected data to operational units;
- communicating with duty officers and reporting on the tactical situation;
- complying with UAV safety regulations;
- maintaining UAVs in proper technical condition.
Requirements
- ability to work with mapping software and navigation systems;
- responsibility and attention to detail;
- observance of safety and confidentiality rules during missions;
- experience working with UAVs is an advantage (training provided if absent);
- knowledge of aerodynamics and navigation principles is an advantage;
- teamwork skills;
- willingness to learn and develop.
