Medical Officer

A Medical Officer provides medical support to unit personnel, maintains records of sick and wounded soldiers, organizes medical evacuation, ensures proper availability of medical supplies, and implements disease prevention measures within the unit.
Responsibilities
- implementing disease prevention measures within the unit;
- providing medical support to ill service members;
- maintaining records of sick personnel;
- keeping medical documentation on sick and wounded soldiers;
- checking the completeness of medical supplies in the unit;
- participating in evacuation of sick and wounded to medical facilities.
Requirements
- formal medical education;
- ability to provide emergency medical care (bleeding control, dressings, immobilization, resuscitation);
- experience in the medical field;
- military service experience is an advantage;
- abstinence from alcohol and psychoactive substances;
- teamwork ability;
- motivation to learn and develop.
Conditions
- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract-based service;
- possibility of transfer for current service members with commander consent;
- salary from 20,000 to 50,000 UAH depending on duty location and tasks;
- provision of uniform, personal protective equipment, and food;
- guaranteed annual leave plus an additional 10 days for family reasons;
- full social benefits package.
