Fortification Builder

The fortification builder constructs the shelters and positions that protect the brigade's personnel: digs excavations, builds dugouts and protected firing points, installs timber and steel structures, camouflages finished works and reinforces those built earlier. Heavy physical work as part of an engineering and construction team, outdoors and in any weather.
Responsibilities
- digging and preparing excavations for shelters and positions;
- building dugouts, shelters and protected firing positions;
- concreting structures, laying walls and overhead cover;
- installing timber and steel structures;
- camouflaging finished works and arranging the approaches to them;
- repairing and reinforcing previously built fortifications.
Requirements
- vocational training or practical experience in construction;
- basic knowledge of construction methods and materials;
- skills with hand and power tools;
- physical stamina and readiness for heavy manual work;
- ability to work in a team and follow safety rules.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, statutory social guarantees and benefits;
- annual paid leave and additional leave as provided by law.
