Fortification Builder

The fortification builder constructs shelters, dugouts and engineering structures at the positions of an unmanned systems brigade, camouflages them and restores what shelling has destroyed. This is field work, largely done by hand, as part of a construction team, to deadlines set by the commander and in line with building methods and safety rules.
Responsibilities
- building shelters, dugouts and other fortifications at unit positions;
- earthworks, masonry, concreting and assembly of structures;
- restoring structures and facilities destroyed by shelling;
- camouflaging what has been built and keeping structures in usable condition;
- working with construction materials, hand tools and power tools;
- following building methods and safety rules on site.
Requirements
- experience in construction or repair work;
- skills with hand tools and power tools used in construction;
- ability to read simple drawings and diagrams of structures;
- physical endurance and readiness to work in the field;
- reliability and ability to work as part of a construction crew.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, subject to the commander's approval;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
