Fortification Builder

The fortification builder puts up positions and shelters before people and equipment move in: lays masonry, pours concrete, installs structures and does earthworks, and restores engineering structures that have been hit. Works in a small team in the field, under tight deadlines, with hand and power tools, and is answerable for the strength of what has been built.
Responsibilities
- construction and repair work at fortification sites;
- masonry, concreting and installation of building structures;
- earthworks: digging trenches, shelters and communication passages;
- restoring sites and engineering structures that have been hit;
- working with building materials, hand tools and power tools;
- following work procedures and safety requirements on site.
Requirements
- vocational training or practical experience in construction;
- basic knowledge of building techniques and materials;
- ability to follow procedures and ensure the strength of the structures built;
- physical stamina and readiness to work in the field.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization for the duration of martial law; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 120,000;
- uniform, equipment, meals and materiel provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees.
