Accountant

The accountant keeps the military unit's books: calculates pay and other payments to personnel, tracks the movement of funds and military property, prepares financial and tax reports and handles requests from government bodies and auditors. Office-based computer work within the finance service, with high demands on accuracy and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- keeping the military unit's accounts in line with the law;
- calculating pay and other payments to personnel;
- monitoring the movement of the unit's financial resources;
- keeping records of material assets and military property;
- preparing financial and tax reports;
- liaising with government bodies and audit services.
Requirements
- higher education in accounting, finance or economics;
- experience working as an accountant;
- experience with M.E.Doc, 1C or the Kazna treasury software;
- knowledge of accounting and reporting legislation;
- attention to detail and responsibility for data accuracy;
- experience in a military unit or public institution is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer from other units for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- office-type service, uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus statutory benefits;
