Welder

The welder carries out welding work for an unmanned systems brigade: builds engineering and fortification structures, repairs metal mounts and parts of equipment and is responsible for the quality of every weld. This is hands-on work with tools and metal that requires precision, adherence to safety rules and the ability to work from drawings.
Responsibilities
- welding work during the construction of engineering and fortification structures;
- preparing workpieces: cutting, grinding, marking out and fitting;
- welding and repairing metal structures, mounts and equipment parts;
- checking weld quality and fixing any defects found;
- servicing welding equipment and keeping it in working order;
- following occupational and fire safety rules during work.
Requirements
- confident skills in arc, MIG/MAG or TIG welding;
- ability to read drawings and sketches of metal structures;
- precision and responsibility for the quality of the work;
- physical stamina for working in field conditions;
- vocational training or hands-on construction experience is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave, additional leave, statutory benefits and social guarantees.
