The repair workshop specialist brings the unit's vehicles and equipment back into service: welds metal structures, machines and restores parts on a lathe, fits and assembles units and mechanisms. The work takes place in a workshop with machine tools, welding and bench equipment, where each task starts with diagnosing a fault and ends with a working machine.
Responsibilities
- welding metal structures and parts;
- making and restoring parts on a lathe;
- bench work, fitting and assembly of units and mechanisms;
- diagnosing faults in the unit's vehicles and equipment;
- repairing and servicing assemblies and components;
- following occupational safety rules when working with machine tools.
Requirements
- vocational training, work experience as a turner, welder, fitter or mechanic, or solid practical manual skills;
- confident use of bench and measuring tools;
- attentiveness, accuracy and discipline at work;
- composure and readiness to follow the requirements of service;
- an engineering degree is an advantage.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 20,000 to UAH 50,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave and statutory social guarantees;
- access to the unit's psychologists.
