Reconnaissance Platoon Commander

The reconnaissance platoon commander plans and directs reconnaissance, which every strike by an unmanned systems brigade depends on. Organises the use of aerial observation assets, collects and verifies the data obtained and passes it to the command. Works in constant coordination with neighbouring units and keeps the platoon cohesive and ready to deploy.
Responsibilities
- leading the reconnaissance platoon and setting tasks for its personnel;
- planning reconnaissance actions and directing them during execution;
- organising the use of aerial reconnaissance assets;
- collecting, verifying and summarising intelligence and passing it to the command;
- coordinating with neighbouring units during missions;
- maintaining the platoon's combat readiness and cohesion.
Requirements
- experience managing personnel;
- experience working with drones and understanding of their reconnaissance capabilities;
- ability to plan actions and set clear tasks for subordinates;
- leadership and communication skills;
- good physical fitness and stamina;
- combat experience is an advantage.
Conditions
- officer position: service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave plus additional leave;
- benefits and statutory social guarantees.
