The brigade air defense chief commands the forces and assets that shield the brigade's units from aerial threats, including the use of interceptor drones. The work involves continuous assessment of the air situation, planning the actions of air defense crews, keeping them ready and coordinating cover with the brigade's other units.
Responsibilities
- commanding the brigade's air defense forces and assets;
- planning and organizing the use of interceptor drones;
- analyzing the air situation and assessing aerial threats;
- monitoring the combat readiness of subordinate crews and units;
- coordinating air cover with the brigade's other units;
- training crews and rehearsing their actions on alert.
Requirements
- higher education;
- experience with air defense systems and interceptor UAVs;
- ability to make decisions under time pressure;
- sense of responsibility and focus on results;
- readiness to work in an active combat zone.
Conditions
- officer position; service under contract or through mobilization, transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided;
- annual paid leave, additional leave and statutory benefits;
- statutory social guarantees.
