
Communications Officer

The communications officer makes sure the crews, units and staff of an unmanned systems brigade stay in constant contact with one another. The work combines accounting for and issuing communications equipment with keeping telecommunications networks running and protected from outside intrusion, and, when something fails, restoring communications while tasks are under way.
Responsibilities
- preparing, issuing and keeping records of communications equipment in the units;
- supporting personnel in the use of communications equipment;
- keeping telecommunications networks running without interruption;
- protecting the brigade's internal networks from cyber threats;
- troubleshooting and restoring communications during tasks;
- keeping documentation for the communications area.
Requirements
- higher education;
- experience in communications or signals;
- knowledge of communications equipment and network design principles;
- leadership and management skills;
- combat experience is an advantage.
Conditions
- officer position; service under contract or through mobilization, transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 26,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided in line with standard allowances;
- annual paid leave and additional leave;
- social package and benefits provided by law.
