Brigade Press Officer

The brigade press officer is responsible for the unit's contact with the media and for how its work becomes known to the outside world. Prepares press releases and interviews, shoots and edits photo and video material, runs the brigade's official social media pages and accompanies journalists in the units. Every piece is cleared before publication with safety in mind.
Responsibilities
- handling the brigade's contact with the media and accompanying journalists in the units;
- preparing press releases, summaries and interviews about the brigade's work;
- running the brigade's pages on Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and YouTube;
- photographing and filming the units' work, processing and editing the material;
- covering the brigade's activities and maintaining its public image;
- clearing material before publication in line with safety requirements.
Requirements
- higher education;
- experience in media or journalism;
- proficiency with photo editors and video editing software;
- flawless written Ukrainian;
- strong communication skills and ease in working with people.
Conditions
- service under contract or through mobilization; transfer for those already serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with their commander's consent;
- monthly pay from UAH 23,000 to UAH 126,000;
- uniform, equipment and meals provided, plus military service benefits;
- annual paid leave, additional leave and statutory social guarantees.
